A Week in Scent: How I Use the Being Collection Candles

A Week in Scent: How I Use the Being Collection Candles

There’s a quiet rhythm to my weeks, a flow guided not by a to-do list, but by scent. For me, lighting a candle isn't just about making a room smell nice; it’s a mindful ritual, a way to set an intention for the day and connect with myself. The Being candle collection has become the scented soundtrack to my week, each one a different note for a different moment.

It all begins on Sunday. Sunday is for easing in, so my morning starts with the gentle flicker of the Rest candle. It's a soft, comforting scent that encourages me to slow down and simply be. As the evening approaches and I start to prepare for the week ahead, I light the Calm candle. It's my anchor, a grounding aroma that helps me feel centered and ready for whatever the new week brings.

When Monday arrives, the choice is either to continue with the grounding Calm candle or to light the Acceptance candle. The latter is a personal reminder to go with the flow, to let go of what I can’t control in the busy week ahead. Then, after the school run, I switch to the Create candle. The hint of cinnamon in it feels like an energetic nudge, stimulating my mind and helping me move into action. My Monday evening is all about returning to that sense of peace, so I’ll light either the Calm candle or Rest candle again.

Tuesday is a day for courage. I light my Courage candle as a reminder to show up authentically and with purpose, even when things feel challenging. It's a little beacon of strength, helping me face the day head-on.

By Wednesday morning, we're in the middle of the week, and it’s time to get into a state of flow. The Create candle is back on, its scent helping me focus and channel my energy. After work, I listen to my body and may light either the Calm candle or Rest candle. I've also found that the Calm candle is perfect for creating a relaxed environment for homework, making those evening tasks feel a little less stressful.

Thursday calls for gratitude, and my Joy candle is the perfect companion. Its scent helps me feel grateful for all the good things in my life. In the evening, it’s back to the grounding aroma of Calm candle.

Friday morning is a repeat of my Joy candle, a celebration of making it to the end of the work week. And as I ease into the weekend on Saturday, I return to the soothing embrace of my Rest candle, ready to unwind and recharge.

This weekly candle ritual has become a cherished part of my life. Each scent is a gentle prompt, helping me navigate my emotions and intentions. It's more than just a pleasant smell; it’s a tool for mindfulness and a way to live each day with purpose.
